Afternoon Tea
The Old Quay House is an idyllic location for an afternoon tea or cream tea, whether sitting in our beautiful restaurant or gorgeous estuary side garden.
Our delicious Afternoon Tea’s are served Monday to Saturday (sorry we’re super busy on Sunday’s serving our carvery) and Cream Tea’s are available 7 days a week from 2pm – 4pm. Your table will be reserved inside, however if the sun is shining when you arrive, and you would like to dine outside in our estuary side garden, then please do let us know.
Our delicious afternoon teas are the perfect way to celebrate a special occasion, whether it be a baby shower, hen party or birthday.

Bubbly Afternoon Tea – £30.00 per person
Selection of Sandwiches and Cakes, Plain and Fruit Scone, Clotted Cream, Jam and unlimited freshly brewed Tea and Coffee and a 125ml glass of Prosecco
Cornish Cream Tea – £12.50 per person
Plain and Fruit Scone, Clotted Cream, Jam and unlimited freshly brewed Tea and Coffee
Festive Afternoon Tea – £30.00 per person
(available 1st – 24th December 2025 excluding Sunday’s)
Enjoy a delectable selection of Festive Savouries, Mini Cakes, Plain and Fruit Scone, Clotted Cream, Jam and unlimited freshly brewed Tea and Coffee and a choice of either a glass of mulled wine or a luxury hot chocolate, whilst soaking up our festive atmosphere.
How to book
Afternoon Tea – Pre-booking at least 48 hours in advance is required. £10.00 non-refundable deposit per person required at the time of booking, the balance payment is then required on the day of your afternoon tea.
Cornish Cream Tea – Pre-booking is not required unless you are a group of 7 guests or more. (For group bookings – pre-booking at least 48 hours in advance is required, full non-refundable payment of £12.50 per person is required at the time of booking.
